Thanks to Cartier’s ongoing and increasingly refined design research, the Tank watch continues to evolve.
Starting in 1921, the case became longer and the brancards more delicate—this was the birth of the Tank LC (LC for Louis Cartier). Then came the monochrome dials of the Must era in the late 1970s.

In 1988, perfectly in line with the spirit of the times, Cartier introduced the Tank Américaine, followed in 1996 by the Tank Française, featuring a metal bracelet seamlessly integrated with the case.

This particular watch has just undergone a full official Cartier service (which includes the extended warranty, of course), and the battery was also replaced during the service. It comes with the official Cartier service pouch. It fits wrists up to 17.5 cm in circumference.
