The Santos Galbée traces its roots to the iconic Cartier Santos-Dumont, originally created in 1904 for aviation pioneer Alberto Santos-Dumont. As Cartier’s first pilot’s wristwatch, it marked a pivotal moment in horological design. The Galbée emerged in 1987 as a refined iteration (with curved, ergonomic lugs replacing the more angular Santos cases) ushering in a new era!
