Cartier Santos Octagon 0907
The Cartier Santos Octagon is one of those watches that immediately stands out for its distinctive shape and unmistakable Cartier character. Reference 0907 dates from the 1980s and 1990s and features the classic two-tone combination of stainless steel and 18k yellow gold. The compact 25 mm case gives it an elegant presence on the wrist, while the octagonal bezel and exposed screws are instantly recognisable details of the Santos design.
The white dial keeps things typically Cartier, with Roman numerals, a railway-style minute track and elegant blued steel hands. Inside is an automatic movement, with examples of the reference being fitted with Cartier’s automatic calibre 2670. The watch also features a sapphire crystal and a date display, making it a practical piece as well as a beautiful vintage Cartier.
This particular example has recently been serviced and is ready to wear. The bracelet fits wrists up to approximately 17.5 cm.
