Tudor Oyster Prince Date Day Jumbo 7020
The Tudor Prince Date Day ref. 7020 is one of the more unusual vintage Tudor models, and a particularly interesting one for collectors. Produced around 1969–1970, the 7020 is known for its large 39 mm “Jumbo” case and distinctive rotating steel bezel. It has a strong presence on the wrist while still retaining the classic proportions and character of a vintage Tudor.
The watch is powered by the Tudor calibre 1895, an automatic movement providing both day and date indications. The plexiglass crystal, screw-down crown and robust Oyster-style case give it plenty of vintage tool-watch character. The 7020 is especially interesting because of its unusual combination of a large case and rotating bezel, a design that was not directly mirrored by Rolex.
The reference 7020 is regarded as one of the more collectible versions of the early Tudor Prince Date Day range.
